Half-elves are both humans and elves’ successors but not get the approval from the humans nor the elves. They belong to a separate community. The elves often call them half-humans, where the humans call them half-elves to separate them from their community. But, comparatively, half-elves pass an easier time with humans who are more accessible and embracing to them in many cases.
As half-elves have no fixed place to call their own, they are the actual example of a keen diplomat to cope with maximum races. Thus they don’t involve themselves in any matter of dispute.
The adventurous and courageous sides of Half-elves match more with the humans than the elves. The characteristic combined with bravery and charm makes them great companions in travel and adventure. Life of Half-Elves
Half-elves are the possessor of some mixed yet best qualities of their elf and human parents. They are curious, innovative, and passionate like humans, and love the nature and artistic creations like the elves. They have no places to call their own. But they feel more home in human cities as they are more warm and hospitable than elves.
They are not as large as humans, nor their physical structure is small like that of elves. To humans, they are elves look-alike and vise versa. Normal humans age quickly, and elves age rarely. As a race mixture, half-elves catch time quickly than elves and hardly than humans. Half-elves that live among humans watch friends and loved ones’ age while time barely affects them. Others who live with the elves reach adulthood early while their peers are still in childhood.
Some half-elves cannot cope with either society. They choose a life of solitude. Some of them travel alone or join with other misfits and wanderers and lead an adventuring life. But they cherish the company of other half-elves who genuinely know how it feels while walking in two worlds neither is truthfully yours.
Half-elf names are quite different than that of Humans or Elves. Half-elves who brought up with humans get elves’ name while who brought up with elves get the names of humans’. When you are playing as a half-elf, choosing those names that are a mixture of both humans and elves is a wise decision.
